Kiwon Sung, Esq. participated in an economic advisory committee meeting held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles residence on June 13th. The meeting was conducted under the theme of "Diagnosing the impact of the Trump administration's tariff and immigration policies on various economic sectors and exploring response measures for Korean individuals and Korean companies operating locally."
Mr. Sung, who participated as a member specializing in startup legal affairs, intensively addressed the practical difficulties faced by startups and entrepreneurs. In particular, he raised key issues regarding the negative impact of current tariff and immigration policies on new business development, along with employment changes due to AI technology advancement. Advisory committee members from various fields participated and engaged in in-depth exchanges of opinions on the current status and response measures for each sector.
